1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Waste Water College, LLC ("Waste Water College," "we," "us," or "our"), a California limited liability company. These Terms govern your use of wastewatercollege.com (the "Site") and any courses, materials, and services we provide (together, the "Services"). By creating an account, purchasing a course, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to purchase courses or create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information and to keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at legal@wastewatercollege.com if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

3. One Student Per Enrollment

Each course purchase authorizes one (1) named student to access that course. Accounts and course access may not be shared, transferred, resold, or used by anyone other than the enrolled student. We may suspend or terminate access, without refund, if we determine an account is being shared or misused.

4. Course Access Period

Each course enrollment includes one hundred eighty (180) days of access, beginning on the date of enrollment (the "Access Period"). All course requirements, including lessons, quizzes, and any final assessment, must be completed within the Access Period. Your course expiration date is shown in your student account. When the Access Period ends, your access to the course ends.

5. Course Extension

Each enrollment is eligible for one (1) extension of fifteen (15) days, subject to the following conditions:

  • Only one (1) extension is available per enrollment. No additional extensions will be granted for any reason.
  • The extension may be requested only during the ninety (90) day period that begins on day 181, the first day after the Access Period ends, and ends on day 270 (the "Extension Window").
  • Extension requests must be sent to us in writing during the Extension Window. Requests received before the Access Period ends or after the Extension Window closes will not be accepted.
  • The fifteen (15) day extension period begins on the date the extension is granted and restores access to the course, including any progress saved at the time the Access Period ended.
  • Unused extension time cannot be paused, saved, split, or transferred.

6. Expired Courses and Re-Purchase

If you do not complete your course within the Access Period, and you either do not request an extension during the Extension Window or do not complete the course within the extension period, your enrollment ends permanently. To continue, you must purchase the course again at the then-current price. A new purchase starts a new enrollment with a new Access Period and a new extension eligibility under these Terms. We are not required to carry over progress from an expired enrollment.

7. Payments

All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors (for example, Stripe). We do not collect or store your full credit card number or other payment card details. Your payment information is handled by the payment processor under its own terms and privacy policy. You agree to pay all charges associated with your purchase and authorize us and our payment processor to charge your selected payment method.

8. All Sales Are Final

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. We do not offer refunds, credits, or exchanges for any course or Service, in whole or in part, including for unused access time, expired enrollments, incomplete courses, or courses purchased in error, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

9. Certificates, Licensing, and Exams

Certificates of completion are issued only after all course requirements are completed within the Access Period or an approved extension period. Course completion does not guarantee that you will pass any certification or licensing exam, or that any regulatory agency, employer, or other third party will accept a course or certificate for any purpose. You are responsible for confirming that a course meets the requirements that apply to you, including those of the California State Water Resources Control Board or any other agency.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site and in our courses, including text, videos, graphics, quizzes, handouts, and software, is owned by or licensed to Waste Water College, LLC and is protected by copyright and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use course content for your own individual, non-commercial training during your enrollment. You may not copy, download (except where we provide a download option), record, distribute, publish, sell, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission.

11. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share your account or course access with anyone else;
  • Copy, record, scrape, or redistribute course content;
  • Share quiz or exam questions or answers, or otherwise engage in academic dishonesty;
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, its systems, or other users' accounts;
  • Upload viruses or other harmful code; or
  • Use the Services for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or terminate your access, without refund, if you violate these Terms.

12. Third-Party Services

The Services may rely on or link to third-party services, including payment processors and hosting providers. We are not responsible for third-party services, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT COURSE CONTENT WILL RESULT IN ANY PARTICULAR EXAM RESULT OR PROFESSIONAL OUTCOME. COURSE CONTENT IS FOR TRAINING PURPOSES ONLY AND DOES NOT REPLACE APPLICABLE LAWS, REGULATIONS, PERMITS, OR THE PROCEDURES OF YOUR EMPLOYER OR FACILITY.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WASTE WATER COLLEGE, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, INSTRUCTORS, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, WAGES, EMPLOYMENT, OR DATA, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE COURSE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Waste Water College, LLC and its members, managers, employees, instructors, and agents from any claims, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Services.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may change, update, or replace these Terms at any time, for any reason, without prior notice to you. Changes take effect immediately when posted on this page, and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.

18. Changes to the Services

We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue any course, feature, or part of the Services at any time without notice.

19. General

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them without restriction. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
